5 Star Garage Door Service trains Amherst, WI technicians on this exact service line so you're not the one teaching them on the job.
Every Amherst, WI technician on this service line carries documentation you can ask to see, and we expect the question.
We service chain-drive, belt-drive, screw-drive, and smart Wi-Fi openers from every major manufacturer.
If replacement genuinely is the better option, we'll say so plainly.
A sensor bumped out of alignment is often the actual fix behind a bigger-seeming problem.
Retrofit smart modules are available when a full replacement isn't necessary.
The logic board controls nearly every function — we carry replacement boards for common Amherst, WI opener brands.
Stripped drive gears cause the classic hum-but-no-movement symptom — we inspect the full drive assembly since a stripped gear often follows an unbalanced door.
Lost remotes and unresponsive keypads get resolved on-site — often in minutes.
Sensors bumped out of alignment get realigned and re-tested — {a blinking light almost always means alignment or a dirty lens|we test full auto-reverse function after every repair|this is a fast, inexpensive fix compared to a full unit swap}.
A motor that struggles to start often points to a failing capacitor — we don't recommend a new unit until we've ruled out the cheap fix.

{Work is completed and tested through a full cycle before we call the job finished.|We verify safety function and smooth operation before asking for your sign-off.|Workmanship is backed by our guarantee, not just a handshake.}
